Insulins are biological products that are used in patients suffering from type 1 diabetes, a condition where the pancreas can’t synthesize much insulin as required to keep blood glucose levels at normal ranges. Insulins are divided into groups according to their onset of action.
FAST-ACTING remember “S”

3 – Glulisine (APIDRA---> anagram of RAPID Acting)
SHORT-ACTING
4 - Regular insulin
LONG-ACTING remember “L”
5 - Detemir (Lemevir)
6 - Glargine
