Ketorolac (brand name Toradol among others) is a strong non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID) used to treat moderate to severe acute pain. It is considered strong at the level of opioids analgesics. Ketorolac shouldn’t be used for more than 5 days based on the risk of gastrointestinal peptic ulcers, renal impairment, cardiovascular events, and bleeding events.
